what i learnt today??

this is my 3rd week of O&G..

it is more relaxing..

since there is no workshop or tutorial

i just came back from ogac..

i was oncall..

although nothing much that i can do there..

still..

i'm very tired..

keep having dehydration..

at this moment..

i felt more confident doing venepuncture..

that's why people always say practice makes perfect..

the only thing that i'm not really confident is iv cannula..

however...i still need to try..

but i'm scared of failure..

but..if u never do it..

u won't know..

i met patient with mitral regurgitation and tricuspid regurgitation..

well..i should admit that i dun really know how to appreciate it..

the only murmur that i can recognize is pansystolic murmur..

hopefull during internal medicine posting i can learn more

then i met patient with pill-rolling tremor..

the 1st thing came into my mind..

parkinson's disease..

again..this should be a good revision for me..

yesterday in clinic..

i clerked one patient..

complaint of abdominal pain..

since i less often clerking gynae case compared to obstetric..

i stuck..i dun know what to ask..

but,during presenting the case..

doctor teach me that i need to consider other causes since she had hysterectomy before..

most likely abdominal pain came from other causes not only O&G
